Paratransit is a specialized service for people with disabilities who are not able to ride fixed-route public transportation buses. We pledge to assist in meeting the transportation needs of the physically and mentally challenged individuals of the City of Owensboro, Kentucky.
Owensboro Transit System (OTS) provides ADA Paratransit Service through Green River Intra-County Transit System (GRITS). Paratransit services are available via a shared ride curb-to-curb program for clients certifed through OTS. This service is reservation based and is available within the City of Owensboro. Services can be utilized for medical, pharmacy, beauty shop, or any other location within the City. An application from OTS is required for paratransit eligibility.
